So, it's been...nearly half a year that I've posted here!  I see less of a reason to update here since facebook works fine for me, but xanga is more personalized in terms of freedom of layout and of course, the ability to post larger sized pics...

Half a year, what's new with me?  Asides from the last 4 months of school,  I came back from a 2 week trip to Japan last Sunday.  It felt really good to get away from Toronto for a change and get a badly needed vacation to get my sanity back.  The trip was fantastic, but 2 weeks in Tokyo is too much, the city never sleeps - it's basically a giant shopping mall completely full of people.  The 2nd week my friend and I attempted to go to middle of nowhere places for a nice change of place - Kamakura, Hakone, hot springs and quiet sight seeing.  (I found Yokohama to be very similar to Toronto in terms of atmosphere.)

On other news I've finally, finally, finally graduated univ last Monday, yay to a new poster to hang on the wall....bachleor of applied science, civil engineering.  And now begins the ever so splendid job search and to experince something other than a broke sleep deprived student life.

Here's some pics I took of Tokyo.   30 of the more edited larger sized ones on my site at http://www.pbase.com/photokun/japan_2008&page=all.  The remaining 330 more random pics are spreadout through 6 albums on my facebook page if you've added me.

Have a nice day.

Procrastination from studying is fun.  This is my window after the huge snowstorm, at 2am...

Hello bird!  The bird was in a bush near a house's window, so I was half expecting someone to come out thinking I was peeping on them with a huge zoom lens.

.....Luckily, that didn't happen.

Currently in exam season.  Finished 1 of 4 today, Geomatics (GPS) systems.  Thursday building science, Friday intro to psychology (hah, yay to taking 1st year electives for kicks),  then next Tuesday transportation planning.

And then my life returns!

And after the 2nd redo, these meat shots are finally...finalized.

Hungry?  Let me distract you with some rocks.

Somebody got bored inbetween classes and balanced the rocks in front of the civil engin building.
